WayBack by DoAlong — Free public beta
Never wonder where you parked or which entrance you used again. Save a spot with its date, time, and an editable label, then get a heads-up compass direction when you return.
What you can do today
- Save a place using location permission.
- Label it Airport Parking, Charging Station, Hotel Entrance, or anything else.
- View saved places by date and time.
- Follow a directional arrow and distance with optional spoken guidance.
- Open a walking route in Google Maps.
- Export or delete your saved places.
Made for Meta Ray-Ban Display
WayBack is an experimental standalone web app. Test it on your phone or browser. Developer-enabled Meta glasses may be able to open web apps through the companion app. We are still testing device compatibility; this is not an official Meta Explore listing.
Important limitations
The arrow is a straight-line compass bearing, not a camera-anchored AR path, an indoor map, or an obstacle detector. Saved places remain in that browser only. Do not rely on WayBack while driving or as the sole source for safety-critical navigation.
Pricing
Beta access is free. Premium features and paid subscriptions are not available yet. No payment is required to test the app.
